Hey all, late update AGAIN. Sorry. So here are your things from last week.
So for your quote of the week I thought I'd go with.... "Fred keeps touching me!" Sarah Michelle Gellar (Daphne Blake) from Scooby-Doo! It's the part when the gangs protoplasm's all switch bodies. I enjoy it :)
Your song is......
And I just thought that I would give you a bunch of videos for the middle of the week. :)
LOVE THIS SONG!!
So listen to some good music and have a laugh on me!-Pip
Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers reading this! And to all the people who aren't mothers, I hope you gave your mom a great day!
So for your recommendation I have two. First off, go for a walk. Now I'm not saying you're fat or unhealthy or anything, I'm just saying that a walk will always do you good. Stressed about your mid-term? Go for a walk. Bored out of your mind? Go for a walk. Walking especially in a beautiful area like the woods, is a great way to ease your mind and body. The fresh air will do you good too. And if you don't like being alone, grab a buddy and go for a double walk. :)
Secondly, I suggest you watch "Adventures in Babysitting" (1987). If you have ever babysat a troublemaker who made you want to rip out your hair, then you'll enjoy this movie. Here's a synopsis:
"Chris Parker agrees to babysit after her "dread" date stands her up. Expecting a dull evening, Chris settles down with three kids for a night of TV... and boredom. But when her frantic friend Brenda calls and pleads to be rescued from the bus station in downtown Chicago, the evening soon explodes into an endless whirl of hair-raising adventures! Babysitter and kids leave their safe suburban surroundings and head for the heart of the big city, never imagining how terrifyingly funny their expedition will become!"
Why did I like it?
The cast was great. It stars Elisabeth Shue (Chris), Maia Brewton (Sara), Keith Coogan (Brad), and Anthony Rapp (Darryl). The secondary characters are quite interesting in their own too.
The story was quite cute. It's a great movie to watch with friends or on a date. You really fall for the characters.
It's unpredictable. When I first watched it I was surprised at all of the trouble they got into. I didn't know what was going to happen.
The music. From the opening song "And Then He Kissed Me" to the scene in the Blues Bar where Chris sings "Babysitting Blues" the music was always catching.
So I really would go and watch it :)
Now for your weekly song and quote I have chosen.
"Get in the car and run him over." Maia Brewton (Sara) from Adventures in Babysitting
Oh my dear! I deeply apologize. Too many tests! Gah! Here's your stuff before I must depart you!
Recommendation
So for this weeks recommendation, I have for you a book. The book is called "Virals" and is written by the amazing Kathy Reichs. You may have heard of some of her stuff before. You know the show Bones? Well she writes the books that that tv show is based on. Cool huh? Anywho, Virals is her first teenage book and it is amazing. I really enjoyed it. It's a book for those loving mystery semi adventure, and science all mixed together. Sorry that my description is a bit lax on details, but there is such a thing as google. Type in Virals by Kathy Reichs and read the description. Highly recommended!!

So for the of the week I had troubles trying to pick stuff, but here you go.
